Not to be confused with maple syrup, Raw Maple Honey is derived from the nectar of maple tree blossoms.

It's really a rare treat because maple trees bloom in the very early spring, when it's still cold and wet in the Pacific Northwest. Bees don't do cold and wet, so they're not usually foraging much during this time. Therefore this dark amber honey only is produced during a warm, dry spring.

Capital Bee's Raw Maple Honey is a must-try. Its full-bodied flavor pairs well with apples, nuts, and strong cheeses, making it a hit on any charcuterie board.

Flavor Notes: Rich, full-bodied, with hints of licorice and a slight cherry finish

Source: Washington State

Capital Bee honey is raw, unprocessed, and never heated, allowing particles of healthful pollen, propolis, and beeswax to remain. Capital Bee honeys are made by bees in the USA.
